Wow. We are getting Lazaro Lopez in Cambridge. You might have seen him dancing some mesmerizing rumbas on stage with Los Van Van or Manolito. You might have taken a brilliant rueda class with him in one of the UK's main Cuban salsa congresses, or in a major Cuban party in London. He is one of the most respected Cuban salsa teachers and performers in the UK, not least because he is also a babalao, a highly ranked persona in Cuba's Santeria religion. And he is going to come to Cambridge to teach and perform during Leandro's 100% Cuban party. Wow.

You thought you had seen everything about Cuba... And then comes José Hernandez Lynn and his stunning performance of the sacred art of Palo. Palo, or Las Reglas de Congo, is a Voodoo-related religion which developed in Cuba amongst Central African slaves of mostly Bantu ancestry. The movements of Palo dances are powerful and spectacular. Would you like to get energized for the whole night? Join José for an initiation to Palo movements at the beginning of the evening. Would you like to get enchanted by a mesmerizing dance never seen before in the UK? Witness José's live Palo performance, which includes some genuine voodoo magic...

We have seen José's performance and followed his classes in last December's Salsa Explosion congress, and it is definitely worth seeing and experiencing live.

Born in Havana, Janet Fuentes Torres is one of the most beautiful dancers in the world; a triple World Open Salsa champion and star of the hit West End show Lady Salsa.

She spent her formative years at the Cuban National School of Art and Dance (graduating with honours) and since arriving in the UK, has become an international Salsa star, performing at major Congresses throughout the world. Winner of "The best female Cuban Salsa Performer Award" at The Cuban Dance Awards 2006.
