The Cambridge Cuban Salsa team operates the Sunday Salsa Lounge and the Thursday Salsa Social Club, which both come highly recommended. Information about these classes and parties can be found below or directly by clicking these links.

Cuban salsa classes operated by other local organizations are also mentioned below. There are Cuban salsa lessons almost every day of the week for beginners and advanced. Bring your friends or come by yourself and meet new people, no partner is required. Cuban salsa is also great for keeping fit and relaxing after work in a friendly environment.

SUNDAY

SPECIAL BEGINNERS SALSA COURSE: this course is specially designed so that beginners can join any time during the year. You will be led through some course units which aim at giving new dancers all the necessary basics to have fun with salsa right from the start. This course will boost your confidence before joining the main class. No partner needed, as you will be introduced to other dancers of the same level.

REGULAR CUBAN SALSA CLASSES taught in a fun-filled yet technically sound way, and followed by a WEEKLY SOCIAL DANCE: this is the perfect place to enjoy salsa in an upbeat environment, dancing to the sound of the most up-to-date salsa tracks, carefully selected by an experienced DJ with an international reputation. Finish your weekend in style with a friendly dance or a chat, that's a great way to relax, keep fit and meet people.

Time: 19.30 Salsa classes all levels
20.30 Party till 23:30 with DJ Sacha.

Venue: Man on the Moon, 2 Norfolk St, CB1 2LF (parking available).

Price: £5 club, £6 with a class.



TUESDAY, 1st Tuesday of the month only

  • Salsa at the Hardwick Sports and Social Club!

On the first Tuesday of the month, fun salsa class and social for beginners.

Venue: Hardwick Sports and Social Club, The Pavillion, Egremont Road, Hardwick CB23 7XR.

Time: 8:00pm–9:00pm Cuban Salsa class for Beginners
9:00pm–10:00pm Social dance, fun lineups etc.

Price: Hardwick Club Members £3, otherwise £6, all inclusive of the class and social.



WEDNESDAY

  • Cambridge Dancers Club

During term times only, 8 weeks during Easter term every Wednesday April 24th-June 12th 2013.
Cuban salsa Classes organized by the Cambridge Dancers Club and taught by DJ Sacha of Cambridge Cuban Salsa.
Preferential rates available for the members of the Cambridge Dancers Club.

This 8 weeks course is perfect to make your first steps in Cuban salsa.

Venue: Parkside Hall, Parkside Community College, CB1 1EH.

Time: 7:30pm–8:30pm Cuban Salsa Beginners
8:30pm–9:30pm Cuban Salsa Improvers/Intermediates
Each session is a 50' class+10' social dance.

Price: CDC Members 1 class £3, 2 classes £4, membership £20/year, students £18/year. Non-members any class length £8.



THURSDAY

  • The Thursday Salsa Social Club

Cuban salsa brought to the next level! Fantastic Cuban salsa classes and party every Thursday at the Cambridge Working Men's Club with DJ Sacha (Cambridge Cuban Salsa) and pro teacher Beki Saunders (Dance Visions UK).
