Cambridge Cuban Salsa club

Welcome to the CAMBRIDGE CUBAN SALSA club.

A club dedicated to the development of Cuban Salsa in Cambridge, its surroundings, and beyond. This website is maintained primarily by DJ Sacha. Cambridge Cuban Salsa promotes and provides weekly salsa classes and monthly salsa parties locally and throughout the UK. In Cambridge, CCS operates salsa classes on Thursdays and salsa classes on Sundays. We can also recommend other salsa classes, DJs and events in the Cambridge area and in East Anglia. The latest news about the salsa scene is available below, and more information is available through browsing the top menu or the right side bar.

TWO CUBAN EVENTS WORTH NOTING: SBK Festival and Cuba in Cape Verde!

Hi all,

Here are two Cuban salsa events that we would like to push forward because we believe they will be truly great landmarks of Cuban salsa in early 2017:

  • SBK Festival, Liverpool, 20-23 Jan. 2017
Yay, and when I say yay, I actually mean YAAAAAY! Miguel and Georgiana, former organisers of the mythic Castle Congress, are back in the scene to organise this weekender, promising to be one of the highlights of 2017: fabulous artists, grand venue, all the ingredients which made the success of the Castle are together again for an unforgettable weekend.
All info, booking etc. on:

  • Cuba in Cape Verde, Sal Island, Cape Verde, January 26th to February 6th 2017
8 days or 12 days options are available for what could be the trip of a lifetime. As you know, Damarys is an amazingly creative teacher and art director. She just went like: "Sacha, Cuba is becoming too expensive. Cape Verde, feels similar, is actually very interesting, and is so much more affordable. I want to make a Cuban festival there." OK, ditto. On the programme, lots of dancing parties and classes of course, but also cultural involvement with language classes, community project, various excursions, some Capoeira, AND some relax time with huge beaches. Just take the jump, you won't regret:

Enjoy! ;-)
